Our place is a great base for exploring the village and the surrounding area. With several restaurants within walking distance.
Accommodation Plompeblad is a holiday home and does not have a breakfast service. There is a ‘Take Away’ for breakfast nearby and a supermarket where you can buy fresh bread etc. If you have rented the boat you can also sail to the supermarket.

The detached and thatched accommodation consists of a Luxury Suite, suitable for 2 persons and a Guesthouse also suitable for 2 persons. Both the Suite and the Guesthouse have their own private entrance, private garden and terrace on the water. Your privacy is guaranteed.
Son and Mart, your hostess and host, live in a Gieterse farmhouse at an appropriate distance from the accommodation but within reach for any questions.
Plompeblad Giethoorn is located on a peninsula in the middle of the old center of Giethoorn. Surrounded by several restaurants that the village has. The supermarket is open 7 days a week and can also be reached by boat. What else do you want!!

Guesthouse
The Guesthouse is situated in a detached converted barn, mostly on ground level The exterior looks authentic, just as many original buildings in Giethoorn. Inside you will find a fully equipped country classic décor. A cozy space to enjoy with the two of you!

Prachtige accommodatie op een unieke locatie in hartje Giethoorn! De beschikking over een boot en de tips van Martin maakt je bezoek aan Giethoorn helemaal af. Mocht je op zoek zijn naar de ultieme Giethoorn ervaring, dan zit je hier goed!
The B&B suite we stayed was a perfect retreat! Martin was a great host, responsive and gave us lots of local tips and suggestions. The location is central, walking distance to all shops and restaurants in the city and also to the famed canals and bridges. The boat rental was a great deal as well as you could take it out during mornings before the tourist flocks arrive and enjoy the scenery in peace and quiet. We also used it to go to supermarkets and other towns! The house itself is well renovated and equipped with modern amenities including an outdoor gas BBQ grill and stove for cooking. The terrace is great to relax. Overall great experience.and would return again.
Wat een pareltje! Aan het water, vollop privacy, bootje voor de deur. Een badkamer als een droom….echt een geweldige plek en the place to be als je een paar dagen naar Giethoorn gaat!
B&B Plompeblad is een superleuke en keurig verzorgde locatie in hartje Giethoorn. Onze gastvrouw en -heer hebben een heerlijke plek gecreëerd van waaruit je het dorp en de omgeving kunt ontdekken.
Wij verbleven in de guesthouse en hier was alles wat we nodig hadden: een goed bed, fijne badkamer, een keukentje en twee privé terrassen, waarvan eentje aan het water. Het was genieten om hier alle bootjes voorbij te zien komen.
Deze B&B is wat ons betreft zeker een aanrader!
