Plompeblad Guesthouse

Plompeblad Guesthouse is a holiday home and does not have a breakfast service. There is a ‘Take Away’ for breakfast nearby and a supermarket where you can buy fresh bread etc. If you have rented the boat you can also sail to the supermarket. 

The Guesthouse is situated in a detached converted barn, mostly on ground level. The exterior looks authentic, just as many original buildings in Giethoorn. Inside you will find a fully equipped country classic décor.

The accommodation is suitable for 2 persons.

Inside
The Guesthouse has its own access and entrance. The living room with open kitchen is located on the ground floor. The high ceilings, the many windows and the light colors give a pleasant feeling of spaciousness. The view from this room is spectacular. There is a comfortable two-seater sofa and two armchairs. The decorative fireplace brings coziness as soon as it gets dark. For entertainment a smart 42 “LED TV is installed, along with a radio/CD player and free WiFi.

The fully equipped open kitchen in country style has a refrigerator, a stove with oven and extractor fan (there is no dishwasher). There is a kettle and “Senseo” coffee maker. Next to the kitchen you can sit down at the kitchen table while enjoying a snack and a drink.

On the ground floor there is a charming bedroom, with a double box spring bed (180 x 200cm). Opposite the bedroom is the large designer bathroom, with a double sink, a bath and a big walk-in shower. The separate toilet is located in the entrance hall.

A staircase in the living room leads to the mezzanine, directly under the thatched roof. Here you will find a cozy sleeping area with two single box spring beds, 90 x 200cm each.

Outside
The Guesthouse has a private entrance and private garden. There are two terraces; next to the entrance you will find a spacious covered terrace with a large wooden table and chairs. In addition, a second terrace is located at the rear of the accommodation overlooking the village canal where the boats sail by.
